Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the chopped cannabis Leave for a few minutes then take off the heat and let the butter and cannabis mixture cool. Leave for a few hours or overnight
Preheat oven to 180C. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper
Using an electric mixer or whisking by hand, beat the butter, brown sugar and caster sugar till the mixture is creamy. Beat in the eggs and vanilla until combined
Stir in the flour and blend thoroughly
Stir in milk chocolate chips and dark chocolate chips, reserving some for the top of the cookies
Roll 2 level teaspoonfuls of mixture into balls and place on the prepared tray. Press down slightly to make a nice flat shaped cookie. Add bits of chocolate on top and lightly press in
Put the cookies in the oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the cookies are a golden brown and cooked through – they should be firm to the touch of a finger
Remove cooked cookies and set aside to cool
